Job Description

We are looking for a reliable Packer to perform general tasks that require only a brief induction. The role involves handling stock, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring products are packaged and stored correctly.

Requirements

• Grade 12 or NQF4 qualification
• Experience in loading and unloading stock
• Ability to keep premises clean and tidy
• Basic stock control skills
• Capable of performing hard manual labour
• Willingness to add value to the job function continuously
• Good reading and understanding of English
• Availability to work Monday to Saturday (6‑day work week)
• Availability for night shift duties

Duties and Responsibilities

• Use the correct packaging for Graded Mills at all times
• Ensure milled products are not mixed and are handled according to SOPs
• Bag, package, palletise and store milled products in line with SOPs daily
• Comply with safety and foodstuffs legislation at all times
• Maintain general tidiness of the work area
• Perform cleaning duties as required
