The successful candidate will report directly to the Business Manager, playing a vital role in the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing of financial products aimed at the agricultural sector.
- Processing and managing credit applications for farmers seeking loans.
- Resolving account-related queries efficiently to ensure client satisfaction.
- Providing exceptional client service within the marketing area and handling financing-related matters.
- Monitoring crop yields and preparing comprehensive crop reports to inform stakeholders.
- Managing accounts receivable, reporting on status, and actively collecting overdue accounts.
- Building and maintaining a robust financing book in the marketing area.
- Fostering excellent internal relationships to facilitate effective collaboration.
- Preparing cash flow budgets and interpreting financial statements for clients.
- Participating in information days to engage with clients and share valuable insights.
Skills, Qualifications, and General Requirements:
- A minimum of a Grade 12 qualification is necessary for this role.
- A valid driver’s license is required for travel between client sites and the office.
- Proficiency in both Afrikaans and English is essential for effective communication.
- Computer literacy and familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite are important.
- A tertiary qualification in a related field will be advantageous for candidates.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in financing or marketing is required.
- Candidates should demonstrate a strong service delivery orientation and have proven marketing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential to build client relationships.
- A basic understanding of economic and social issues affecting agriculture, including market trends and management practices, is necessary.
