Responsibilities

Job Overview:

  • Develop and grow business in your assigned territory and categories by meeting revenue and volume targets from the Annual Operating Plan, while keeping costs low, such as returns, crates, and scheduled call compliance.

Selling and Delivery:

  • Provide consistent, professional, and efficient service during customer visits to build satisfaction and strong relationships. Sell and distribute all assigned categories.
  • Carry out all promotions, place market equipment, and introduce new products in stores.
  • Increase sales in stores by following execution standards for each channel and finding new customers.
  • Record sales and invoice customers accurately using the PepsiCo system.
  • Collect cash and Proof of Delivery for credit customers.
  • Manage crates effectively to prevent or reduce losses.
  • Complete the end-of-day settlement process.

Merchandising:

  • Manage stock levels and rotate products on shelves according to PepsiCo standards to boost sales and cut returns.
  • Place point-of-sale materials in stores and ensure PepsiCo assets are used only for PepsiCo products.
  • Drive the vehicle safely.
  • Follow PepsiCo Way behaviors.

Compliance:

  • Obey all traffic and safety laws, plus company policies, including health and safety rules.
  • Keep delivery vehicles clean, well-maintained, and safe. Report any mechanical problems.
  • Keep accurate records of stock in the vehicle, including returns or damaged goods.

Qualifications

  • Matric or NQF3 (shortlisted applicants will be assessed).
  • Driver’s License (Code 10) and PDP.
  • Strong driving skills with defensive driving training.
  • Excellent disciplinary and attendance record.
  • Skills in executing winning sales plans, selling, building relationships, communicating effectively, and spotting sales opportunities.
