Job Summary
- An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Code 14 Driver to join our team based in Randfontein.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 qualification
- Valid Code EC driver’s license with PrDP
- 3 years of experience driving ultra-heavy vehicles
- 3 years of experience with Superlink/Interlink/combination vehicles
- Ability to work weekends and public holidays
- Knowledge of defensive driving techniques
- Familiarity with emergency and defect reporting procedures
- Experience with vehicle inspections and fire extinguisher operation
- Focus on vehicle cost-effectiveness and efficiency
- Understanding of loading and offloading techniques
- Reliable transport to and from work
- Clear criminal record
- Medical fitness
Key Responsibilities
- Operate ultra-heavy duty vehicles safely and efficiently
- Load, transport, and offload goods
- Handle required documentation and ancillary duties
- Follow supervisor instructions
- Work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required
- Maintain a clean criminal record and safe driving record
- Keep vehicles, uniforms, and PPE in good condition
- Adhere to SOPs and safety procedures
- Complete medical evaluation, USCS training, induction, and driving evaluation
