Unitrans is seeking a qualified and experienced Code 14 Driver to join our team in Rustenburg, North West. As a leader in supply chain solutions, we are looking for a skilled professional to operate ultra-heavy vehicles and contribute to our logistics operations.

Job Summary

• An exciting opportunity for a Code 14 Driver to work on one of our contracts.
• Ensure safe and efficient transportation of goods using ultra-heavy vehicles.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
• Valid Code EC driver’s license with Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience driving ultra-heavy vehicles.
• Proven experience with Superlink/Interlink/combination vehicles, including reversing skills.
• Ability to work weekends and public holidays.
• Strong knowledge of defensive driving techniques.
• Familiarity with emergency reporting procedures and vehicle inspections.
• Ability to operate a fire extinguisher.
• Reliable transport to and from work.
• Clean criminal record and medical fitness.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate ultra-heavy duty vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Load, transport, and offload goods securely.
• Maintain required documentation and perform additional duties as needed.
• Follow all reasonable instructions from your Supervisor.
• Work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to safety standards.
• Keep your vehicle, uniform, and PPE in good condition.
• Follow company SOPs and safety procedures.
• Complete all necessary training and evaluations, including medical assessments and driving tests.
