We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced **Ultra-heavy Motor Vehicle Driver** to join our team in Rustenburg.

Job Summary:

An exciting opportunity is available for a highly skilled Code 14 Driver at our Rustenburg contract. Below are the minimum requirements, duties, and responsibilities for the role.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 certificate
  • Code EC driver’s license with a valid PrDP
  • 3 years of experience driving ultra-heavy vehicles
  • 3 years of experience with Superlink/Interlink/combination vehicles, including reversing skills
  • Willingness to work weekends and public holidays
  • Knowledge of defensive driving techniques
  • Familiarity with emergency and defect reporting procedures
  • Ability to perform vehicle inspections and operate a fire extinguisher
  • Focus on vehicle cost-effectiveness and efficiency
  • Understanding of vehicle loading and offloading techniques
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Clean criminal record
  • Medical fitness

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and operate ultra-heavy duty vehicles for trips
  • Manage loading, transportation, and offloading of goods
  • Handle required documentation and perform additional duties as assigned
  • Be prepared for shifts, weekends, and public holidays
  • Maintain a safe driving record and a clean criminal record
  • Ensure housekeeping of vehicles, uniforms, and PPE
  • Adhere to SOPs and safety procedures
  • Complete all required processes, including medical evaluation, USCS training, induction, practical driving evaluation, and criminal record verification
