Job Description
Managed People Solutions is offering internship opportunities to young, unemployed, and ambitious TVET students who want to gain workplace experience. This program is open only to those who have completed their N6 Certificate from a TVET College and need 18 months of practical training to get their N6 Diploma. The opportunity is based in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga.
About the Program: This is an 18-month internship designed to help unemployed youth build key skills and get hands-on experience. It is a great chance to learn about the industry, boost your job prospects, and work with experienced professionals.
Successful candidates will work as Junior Merchandisers and perform the following tasks:
- Decide which stock needs merchandising
- Prepare stock requirements lists
- Check product expiry dates, quality on shelves, stock rotation, and price tags
- Carry out merchandising tasks as planned in the schedule
- Handle customer complaints, questions, and requests
- Share information about products and promotions
- Record merchandising activities properly
- Make visits according to the planned route
- Inform the Regional Sales Manager about out-of-stock items
Requirements:
- Must be under 28 years old
- N6 TVET Certificate in one of the following fields:
- Management Assistant
- Business Management
- Marketing Management
Stipend: R3,500 per month
Duration: 18 months
