About the Role
The Community Work Programme (CWP) seeks a proactive Site Coordinator to oversee the implementation of community development initiatives in the Northern Cape. This role ensures alignment with service delivery goals, compliance with program standards, and effective stakeholder collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily operations of the CWP site, ensuring alignment with national and local priorities.
- Monitor program compliance, including audit standards, reporting, and documentation.
- Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly reports on program outputs and financial activities.
- Manage stakeholder engagement with local municipalities, partners, and community groups.
- Oversee training logistics, including planning, delivery, and performance tracking.
- Validate participant data to ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance.
- Develop site-specific work plans, procurement strategies, and risk assessments.
- Support audit processes and implement corrective action plans.
- Facilitate community development forums and represent CWP at municipal meetings.
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) required; Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in project coordination, administration, or community development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
