The Coega Development Corporation (CDC) is a state-owned entity established in 1999 to develop and manage the Coega Industrial Development Zone adjacent to Port of Ngqura. We facilitate international investment partnerships across multiple sectors.
Key Requirements:
- National Certificate (NQF Level 5) in Training & Development
- Welding Trade Test Certification
- Valid SETA registration as Facilitator, Assessor & Moderator
- 5+ years post-qualification industry experience
- 3+ years welding instruction experience
Core Responsibilities:
Training Delivery & Management:
- Develop curriculum materials and conduct training sessions
- Oversee learner recruitment and assessment processes
- Manage workshop equipment maintenance and safety protocols
- Coordinate learner placements with host employers
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct workplace monitoring visits
- Track training program effectiveness
- Prepare detailed progress reports
- Ensure compliance with SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) standards
Additional Requirements:
- Proven ability to maintain learner discipline
- Strong mentorship capabilities
- Inventory management skills
- Proficiency in workplace safety regulations
