Job Description

To act as the link between the customer and the company, between the drivers and the company, and between the sales reps and the company in order to ensure effective service levels with regard to order taking.


  • Pre-Invoicing of orders
  • Taking orders telephonically
  • Printing & Checking of load sheets
  • Printing of Invoices
  • Compile Drivers orders
  • Capture all drivers and customer orders on system
  • Communicate with customers e.g. to confirm deliveries (relationship building in case have to deliver late)
  • Handle customer complaints – and forward to correct person for action
  • Customers are informed of products and promotions
  • Monitor returns
  • Compiling Variance reports daily (Actual sales captured vs Target)
  • Weekly Sales report compiled
  • Other Ad hoc duties as required


Function – 
  • 1 Year clerical experience,
  • 1 year FMCG experience,
  • Computer literacy experience,
  • Attention to detail/numeracy skills,
Industry – Experience in FMCG industry desirable
