Position Overview

The Community Work Programme (CWP) seeks a Site Coordinator to oversee the implementation of community development initiatives in the Thembelihle Local Municipality. This role ensures alignment with service delivery goals, compliance with audit standards, and effective stakeholder collaboration.

Core Responsibilities

  • Coordinate CWP activities and monitor compliance with program standards.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement (internal and external) to align with local priorities.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly reports and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Oversee training logistics and track participation targets.
  • Develop business plans, needs assessments, and procurement strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with audit requirements and asset management policies.
  • Represent CWP in community forums and development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Education: Matric (Grade 12) required. Diploma/Degree in Social Sciences preferred.
  • Experience: 3+ years in project coordination, administration, or stakeholder management.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, valid driver’s license, strong organizational skills.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
