Test Analyst Opportunity at South African Revenue Service (SARS)

Position Details

• Employment Type: Full Time
• Education: Matric + National Certificate (NQF 6 in IT preferred)
• Experience: 3-6 years in testing environment
• Location: Pretoria, Gauteng
• Department: Information Technology

Key Responsibilities

Core Functions:

• Execute test cases within defect management systems
• Monitor testing progress and document results through full project cycles
• Perform compatibility testing across software versions and platforms
• Identify and report system defects using Quality Center (QC) tools
• Collaborate with technical teams to resolve system failures
• Ensure compliance with data validation standards and testing protocols

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

• NQF 6 IT qualification + 3+ years testing experience OR
• Matric Certificate + 6+ years testing experience
• Advanced certification in Software Testing (ITSEB/ISTQB preferred)
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HP Quality Center
