Position Details:

Key Responsibilities:

Land Identification & Analysis

  • Develop land selection criteria aligned with housing development goals
  • Collect and analyze spatial data for settlement planning
  • Identify viable properties for affordable housing projects
  • Conduct site evaluations and stakeholder consultations

Land Suitability Assessments

  • Evaluate sites for geotechnical factors and environmental impact
  • Assess infrastructure capacity and development potential
  • Prepare feasibility reports and layout plans
  • Support land acquisition processes

Development Planning

  • Manage zoning applications and statutory approvals
  • Support creation of urban development plans
  • Review planning proposals and policies

Requirements:

  • Qualification in Town Planning/Urban Design
  • 1-3 years’ experience in spatial planning
  • Working knowledge of GIS and AutoCAD (advantageous)
  • Understanding of land use management systems
  • Familiarity with housing development processes
