Position Details
- Employment Type: Full-Time Position
- Required Qualification: National Certificate or 3-year ICT Diploma
- Experience Required: 2 years in telecoms network environment
- Location: Cape Town, Western Cape
- Department: Information & Communication Technology
Essential Requirements
- Valid driver’s license (advantageous)
- Physical capability for outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Experience with telecom inventory systems (GE Smallworld preferred)
- Proficiency in asset management surveys and data recording
- Computer literacy skills
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate telecom network asset records
- Conduct site surveys of physical infrastructure
- Collaborate with telecommunications teams and stakeholders
- Update City Broadband Infrastructure Management System (BIIMS)
- Execute work according to project timelines
