Position Details

  • Employment Type: Full-Time Position
  • Required Qualification: National Certificate or 3-year ICT Diploma
  • Experience Required: 2 years in telecoms network environment
  • Location: Cape Town, Western Cape
  • Department: Information & Communication Technology

Essential Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license (advantageous)
  • Physical capability for outdoor work in various weather conditions
  • Experience with telecom inventory systems (GE Smallworld preferred)
  • Proficiency in asset management surveys and data recording
  • Computer literacy skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate telecom network asset records
  • Conduct site surveys of physical infrastructure
  • Collaborate with telecommunications teams and stakeholders
  • Update City Broadband Infrastructure Management System (BIIMS)
  • Execute work according to project timelines
