Position: Electrical Technician – CPM Direct Current (Makhado, DX)

Experience Level: 3 years (Including P1+P2 practical training)

Minimum Requirements
Education:
National Diploma/N6 Qualification in Electrical Engineering (NQF Level 6 with 240 credits)
Professional Experience:
3 years’ technical experience in electrical maintenance or related field

Leadership Qualities:
Team collaboration skills, mentorship capabilities, and staff development experience
Technical Knowledge:
– HV/LV operating regulations (ORHVS & LVOR)
– Control systems operations
– Electrical fault diagnosis
– Equipment maintenance protocols
Essential Skills:
Computer proficiency, documentation management, valid Code 08 driver’s license
Key Responsibilities
– Perform maintenance on DC control equipment
– Install and commission new electrical systems
– Troubleshoot and repair system malfunctions
– Ensure compliance with safety/environmental standards (SHEQS)
– Maintain operational documentation and reports
