Knowledge:

• Understanding of control plant technologies, standards, procedures, and philosophies
• Operating Regulations for High Voltage Systems (ORHVS)
• Fault finding and investigation
• Accredited to level 2 or intermediate for control plant specific maintenance discipline
• Control plant specific work execution
• Low Voltage Operating Regulations (LVOR) and Outcome 3 authorisation

Skills:

• Computer literate
• Administration
• Valid Code 08 driver’s license

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain control plant equipment
• Diagnose faults and repair control plant equipment
• Install and commission control plant equipment
• Adhere to safety, health, environment, quality, and security (SHEQS) requirements

Qualifications

• National N Diploma / National Diploma in Electrical Engineering at NQF6 with 240 credits

Related Experience

• 3 years related / P1 and P2 practical experience in a technical environment
