Position Details:

• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Required Qualification: National Diploma/Higher Certificate in Textile Technology (B.Tech preferred)
• Experience: 2+ years in textile technology/manufacturing or related technical training
• Location: Durban, KwaZulu-Natal
• Department: Manufacturing & Technology

Key Requirements:

• Expertise in dry processing and textile manufacturing technologies
• Strong knowledge of yarn/fabric production, quality control, and material science
• Proficiency in operating textile laboratory equipment
• Effective communication skills and MS Office competency

• Demonstrable work portfolio with verifiable references
• Team-oriented mindset with self-motivation and initiative

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage laboratory operations and equipment maintenance
• Support practical training sessions and student assessments
• Implement safety protocols and inventory management systems
• Assist with departmental budgeting and resource planning
• Participate in research projects and community initiatives
