Job Description:

The purpose of this role is to supervise machine operators responsible for grass cutting.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Ensure that daily work is completed to a high standard and meets the council’s objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise the activities of the team.
  • Manage the use, application, and maintenance of machinery, equipment, tools, and materials.
  • Handle administrative and human resources tasks.
  • Maintain and develop municipal green areas, overgrown stands, and cemeteries.
  • Clean and maintain equipment and tools used.
  • Drive a truck as needed.

Requirements:

Grade 12 certificate and a valid Driver’s Licence.

  • Good communication skills.
  • 1 year of related work experience.
