Team Leader Admin & Support

Core Purpose
Lead an administrative team through holistic understanding of Retirement Fund disciplines (contributions, claims, investments, transfers). Ensure operational excellence within regulatory frameworks while driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage FSCA submissions, Section 14/27/28 transfers, and fund deregistrations
- Develop/maintain procedures for Umbrella Fund operations
- Produce management reports and ensure SLA compliance
- Resolve escalated stakeholder queries and build broker relationships
- Conduct staff training and performance management
- Identify process improvements and optimize productivity
Required Skills
- Clear written/verbal communication
- Organizational excellence and attention to detail
- Conflict resolution and decision-making
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Knowledge of Pension Funds Act and retirement fund regulations
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- NQF Level 5 qualification
- 3-5 years retirement funds operations experience
- Expertise in Section 14 transfers and fund terminations
Advantageous:
- BCom degree or NQF Level 6 equivalent
- Wealth management industry certifications
