Team Leader Admin & Support

Core Purpose

Lead an administrative team through holistic understanding of Retirement Fund disciplines (contributions, claims, investments, transfers). Ensure operational excellence within regulatory frameworks while driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage FSCA submissions, Section 14/27/28 transfers, and fund deregistrations
  • Develop/maintain procedures for Umbrella Fund operations
  • Produce management reports and ensure SLA compliance
  • Resolve escalated stakeholder queries and build broker relationships
  • Conduct staff training and performance management
  • Identify process improvements and optimize productivity

Required Skills

  • Clear written/verbal communication
  • Organizational excellence and attention to detail
  • Conflict resolution and decision-making
  • Advanced Excel proficiency
  • Knowledge of Pension Funds Act and retirement fund regulations

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

  • NQF Level 5 qualification
  • 3-5 years retirement funds operations experience
  • Expertise in Section 14 transfers and fund terminations

Advantageous:

  • BCom degree or NQF Level 6 equivalent
  • Wealth management industry certifications
