Tank Assistant Jobs

Maintain tank levels and communicate with drivers about tanks that need product. Help register tankers on the Tank Plus system and update delivery reports.

Main Accountabilities

• Maintain tank levels and communicate with drivers for tanks needing product.
• Assist with registering tankers on the Tank Plus system and update delivery reports.
• Monitor the HMI screen and server to ensure values match the tanks.
• Ensure vaporizers and PRVs are free of ice.
• Control levels from low to high pressure tanks during ship purging and record HMI readings to maintain optimal pressure.
• Conduct daily tank visits and weekly checklists for BTT sites, and send them on time.
• Identify trip points and overhead obstructions before entering the work area.
• Report faults immediately in writing, arrange work permits, and follow up with the manager.
• Keep the workplace clean and tidy.
• Open and latch the door for at least one minute to ventilate the room before entering. Keep the door open while inside.
• Evaluate bay sites to ensure the area is clean.
