About the Role
We are looking for a friendly and organized individual to join our Provincial office in Durbanville. In this role you will manage the switchboard, greet visitors, and provide administrative support to the provincial team.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the switchboard and answer multiple telephone lines.
- Transfer or direct calls to the appropriate person or department.
- Record keeping and data entry.
- Client service and support.
- Scan and manage documents.
- Arrange courier services.
- Handle petty cash.
- Provide administrative support to Provincial and Area Managers.
- Register maintenance calls for the building.
- Schedule meetings and manage boardroom bookings.
- Diary management for the Provincial Manager.
- Direct internal enquiries to the correct department.
- Take messages for management when absent.
- Coordinate meetings and related tasks.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Grade 12
Knowledge and Experience
- Fluency in English and Afrikaans.
- Experience operating a switchboard system.
- 2–3 years of administrative experience.
Skills
- Computer skills: MS Word, Excel, WordPerfect, PowerPoint.
- Basic administration skills.
