Core Responsibilities
- Develop operational plans and policy frameworks for Supply Chain Management
- Ensure compliance with procurement legislation and organizational policies
- Manage end-to-end tender processes including bid invitations, evaluations, and contract awards
- Prepare critical reports including commitment analysis, BBBEE tracking, and exception reporting
- Maintain organized document management system for all procurement records
- Facilitate committee meetings and provide secretarial support
- Process payment documentation and invoice verification
- Provide technical guidance on procurement matters to staff
Essential Requirements
- Proven track record in public sector procurement processes
- Advanced organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software
- Excellent time management and prioritization abilities
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Experience in mentoring junior staff members
