Position Overview

We seek a qualified professional to manage procurement processes for goods/services in compliance with constitutional principles and legislation.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • 3-year National Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in relevant field
  • 1+ years experience in Supply Chain/Acquisition Management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bid management experience
  • Valid Code B driver’s license (or alternative transport arrangements for applicants with disabilities)

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage bid administration processes
  • Support specification/Terms of Reference development
  • Provide operational support to Acquisition Management Unit
  • Supervisory responsibilities

Required Competencies

Technical Knowledge:

  • Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
  • National Treasury Regulations & Provincial Directives
  • Preferential Procurement Framework
  • Contract management guidelines

Key Skills:

  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Financial analysis and reporting
  • Effective communication (written/verbal)
  • Project management
