• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Commercial field
• Experience: 3 – 5 years in Supply Management or BEE strategy development
• Location: Gauteng, Johannesburg
• Job Field: Procurement / Store-keeping / Supply Chain

Job Purpose

The Supplier Development Analyst will provide analytical and administrative support to ensure effective implementation and monitoring of Supplier Development initiatives. The role involves collecting and analyzing data to inform decision-making, ensuring compliance with policies, and supporting Transnet’s transformation and localisation strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze data to support BBBEE and Localisation strategies
• Identify opportunities for BBBEE and Localisation transactions with strategic suppliers
• Support training initiatives for Supplier Development
• Collate reports on SD activities across Transnet
• Track and report on the implementation of Supplier Development Strategies
• Coordinate data collection for monthly dashboard reporting
• Contribute to the monthly SD COE dashboard

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s license (Code 08)
• Willingness to travel as required

• Assist in implementing the Governance Framework in SCM

• Provide administrative support for Governance in SCM
