Position Details
- Employment Type: Full Time
- Required Education:
– National Senior Certificate (Matric)
– NQF Level 6/7 qualification in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Public Administration or related field - Experience Needed: 2-3 years in inventory/logistics
- Location: Eastern Cape Province
- Department: Procurement & Supply Chain Management
Core Responsibilities
- Manage inventory control processes including requisitions and stock issuance
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and assist budget planning
- Conduct regular stock audits and quality checks
- Prepare inventory reports and identify obsolete stock
- Supervise store operations and recommend efficiency improvements
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience in government supply chain operations
- Strong analytical skills for inventory optimization
- Working knowledge of public sector procurement regulations
- Proficiency in inventory management systems
