Job Description
Main Purpose: To support the equipment function of the Bethal Depot by issuing, receiving, capturing equipment in the equipment store. Key Performance Areas:Assemble orders for despatch to sites based on customer requirements.Load, unload, bin and pick equipment by hand and using a forklift.Check and list equipment for despatch to and received from various sites.Do basic stock keeping and stores functions (binning, stock counts, equipment preservation, etc.).Reconcile stock quantities and asset numbers, including differences between physical items and ERP inventory list.Comply with safe working procedure, as well as Company operational procedures.Maintain good housekeeping.Conduct ongoing basic verification inspections on all equipment received and despatched to ensure that quality products are delivered to customers.Any other job related duties as required from time to time.Competencies/Skills: Good planning and organising skills.Ability to plan and prioritise.Effective time management.Willing and able to do demanding physical labour.Ability to work under constant pressure.Ability to work in a team.Result driven.Customer focus.Willing to work overtime as and when required.Preferred Requirements:Grade12/N3.3 Years’ working experience in stores/warehouse.Experience in barcoding and scanning/RFID would be advantageous.Valid forklift licence.Valid driver’s licence (code B).Computer literate.Willing to relocate to Bethal or surrounding area.
