Key Responsibilities

• Deliver goods to customers safely, efficiently, and professionally, upholding Dis-Chem quality standards.
• Prioritize fridge line deliveries and use cooler boxes or cold packs to maintain product quality.
• Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely service and return to the store promptly for additional deliveries.
• Prevent stock or vehicle damage by repacking the vehicle after deliveries.
• Account for damages or losses during deliveries and handle fragile or hazardous products with care.
• Ensure all deliveries are signed for and handle customer payments accurately.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety, reporting any issues to management.
• Adhere to traffic regulations and build strong customer relationships through excellent service.

Key Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) or Senior Certificate.
• Valid Driver’s Licence.
• Reliable transport and willingness to work retail hours.
• Clear criminal record and credit history (MIE required).
• South African citizen.

Competencies

• Knowledge of retail operations and problem-solving skills.
• Basic arithmetic and communication skills.
• Ability to follow procedures and address customer inquiries promptly.
