Key Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification
• At least 6 months of cleaning experience
• Good understanding of English
• Basic customer service skills
• Ability to speak an additional language (area-specific)
• Willingness to work retail hours

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual
• Previous experience in retail store cleaning

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and hygienic store environment, including the shop floor, stock room, dispensary, admin office, and canteen
• Develop cleaning routines to ensure high standards of cleanliness throughout the store
• Ensure the canteen and restrooms are clean and stocked with essential products
• Be available during operational hours to clean as needed
• Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment for specific tasks
• Ensure wet floor signs are visible when cleaning
• Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers
• Adhere to Health and Safety Regulations

Essential Competencies:

• Prior cleaning experience
• Good English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Trustworthy and honest
• Attention to detail
• Presentable appearance
• Ability to follow instructions and manage time effectively

Preferred Competencies:

• Previous retail store cleaning experience
• Bilingual abilities
