Role Overview

We need a skilled and reliable Handyman to manage general maintenance and repair tasks across our premises. The ideal candidate is practical, versatile, and can work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional image in showroom operations.
• Paint touch‑ups and repair damaged walls and vignettes.
• Perform all display repairs, replacements, and stain removal as needed.
• Handle minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Carry out light carpentry work.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Inspect building and sidewalks for raised or sunken concrete and potholes in the parking lot.
• Complete daily walk‑through checklists for showroom and pick‑up centre cleanliness.
• Check in with the location manager or supervisor and have a daily work log signed off.
• Follow safe lifting techniques and ergonomic training.
• Assist with updating showroom displays and building new displays.
• Fit sanitaryware on displays, tile displays, fix lights, paint, and perform carpentry tasks.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of general maintenance, basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Ability to use common tools and equipment.
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks.
• Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently.
• Valid driver’s licence (advantageous).
