Key Requirements
- LLB Degree or equivalent 4-year legal qualification
- Admission as Advocate or Attorney
- 5+ years’ post-qualification experience in litigation/legal advisory
- Expertise in constitutional law, civil litigation, and contract law
- Knowledge of Public Finance Management Act and state liability legislation
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct comparative legal research and stakeholder consultations
- Develop proposals for legal reform and modernization
- Prepare policy papers, legislative drafts, and impact analyses
- Contribute to South African Law Reform initiatives
