Key Responsibilities

• Develop and carry out basic patient care for all patients.
• Provide basic clinical nursing care.

Requirements

• Good communication, planning, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Experience Levels

• Grade 1: No experience required.
• Grade 2: At least 10 years of appropriate nursing experience after registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Staff Nurse.
• Grade 3: At least 20 years of appropriate nursing experience after registration with SANC as a Staff Nurse.

Qualifications

• A qualification that allows registration with SANC as a Staff Nurse.
• Current registration with SANC as a Staff Nurse.

Other Requirements

• Willing to work overtime when needed.
• Must work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Be ready to help in all departments based on operational needs.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Salary and Benefits

• Grade 1: R 220,614 per year
• Grade 2: R 262,287 per year
• Grade 3: R 306,798 per year
• Plus annual benefits: 13th cheque, employer’s pension fund contribution, housing and medical aid allowances.
