About the Job

We are looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented Stacker to join our Durban Rice Plant. The role involves inspecting, stacking, and labeling pallets to ensure product quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect pallets before stacking.
• Use the correct pallet size and cover pallets with sheet covers.
• Stack products neatly according to pallet configuration.
• Ensure the correct number of packets in each bale.
• Apply the correct barcode labels to products.
• Check products for damage or quality issues.
• Verify that the date code is correct.
• Maintain housekeeping standards at all times.
• Follow all GMP and food safety rules.
• Report any food safety or quality non‑conformances to your supervisor.
• Adhere to all safety rules and report any near misses.

Qualifications

• Minimum: NQF 4, Grade 12, or equivalent qualification.
• At least 12 months of experience in a similar environment.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards.
