About SARS:

Position Purpose:

Analyze multinational enterprises’ GloBE Pillar Two submissions to identify tax compliance risks and support operational implementation of tax regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

Education Options:
• Bachelor’s Degree/Advanced Diploma (NQF7) in Taxation, Accounting, or related field + 5-7 years relevant experience
• OR Senior Certificate (NQF4) + 15 years’ experience in Taxation/Accounting/Auditing
• 3-4 years experience at junior specialist level required for both pathways

Key Responsibilities:

Compliance & Risk Management:
– Review Globe Information Tax Returns for compliance risks
– Identify potential tax avoidance patterns
– Develop process improvements for operational efficiency

Strategic Operations:
– Provide technical guidance on tax regulation implementation
– Analyze sector trends for risk assessment
– Support design of compliance monitoring systems

Stakeholder Engagement:
– Maintain professional relationships with internal teams
– Deliver specialist advisory services to stakeholders
– Contribute to organizational knowledge sharing
