About the Role
Lead technical testing initiatives to ensure software reliability through automation, security, and performance validation. Drive quality assurance across application development lifecycles.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Option 1: Bachelor’s Degree/Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) + 5-7 years relevant experience
- Option 2: Senior Certificate (NQF 4) + 10 years relevant experience
- Required: Certified training in Technical Testing (ITSEB/ISTQB)
Key Responsibilities
Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Design and execute automated test scripts
- Conduct security vulnerability assessments
- Perform system performance testing
Process Management:
- Develop testing strategies and defect management processes
- Create technical documentation and progress reports
- Implement process improvements and risk mitigation
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work with cross-functional teams to define requirements
- Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
