Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree/Advanced Diploma in Computer Forensics, Cybersecurity, or IT (NQF 7) AND 8-10 years’ forensic investigation experience
- OR Matric Certificate (NQF 4) AND 15 years’ digital forensics experience
Key Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of computer/mobile/cloud forensic techniques
- Expertise in data recovery and electronic evidence handling
- Understanding of South African legal frameworks (Tax Administration Act, Criminal Law)
- Experience with investigative procedures and court testimony
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct complex digital investigations across multiple evidence types
- Analyze digital artifacts from computers, networks, and mobile devices
- Develop forensic investigation protocols and improvement strategies
- Prepare court-ready reports and present technical evidence
- Collaborate with law enforcement and intelligence agencies
- Maintain chain of custody for digital evidence
