Position Summary:
Design, develop, and maintain data/BI solutions to meet organizational and client needs. Ensure data integrity and deliver actionable insights through advanced analytics.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree/National Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (NQF Level 7)
- MCSE: Data Management & Analytics Certification preferred
- ITIL Foundation Certification required
- Data Science certifications (Python, AWS, Machine Learning) advantageous
Experience Required:
- 8 years in ICT Business Intelligence/Programming
- 4 years specialist experience
- Expertise in data warehousing, ETL tools, and dimensional modeling
- Proficiency in SDLC, data governance, and BI frameworks
Core Responsibilities:
Solution Development:
- Design BI prototypes and implement data pipelines
- Develop ETL processes and data warehouse architecture
- Automate report generation and tracking systems
Data Governance:
- Ensure compliance with information security policies
- Maintain ISO quality standards and risk protocols
- Manage service level agreements for system continuity
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate cross-functionally on BI implementations
- Provide technical leadership on data best practices
- Resolve system queries within agreed timelines
