Role Purpose:

Design, develop, and maintain business applications while migrating legacy systems to modern technologies aligned with organizational objectives.

Key Requirements:

  • ▪ Education: Bachelor’s Degree/National Diploma in IT, Computer Science or related field (NQF Level 7)
  • ▪ Preferred Certifications: DevOps, ITIL, Microsoft Developer
  • ▪ 8+ years’ application development experience (Java, JavaScript, Oracle, .NET)
  • ▪ 4+ years in specialist technical roles
  • ▪ Proven ERP and HRIS systems experience

Core Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

  • • Develop system methodologies for application solutions
  • • Troubleshoot and resolve complex application defects
  • • Manage full software lifecycle from design to implementation

Systems Management:

  • • Conduct impact analysis for system changes
  • • Oversee application migration and integration projects
  • • Maintain documentation for ICT change control processes

Compliance & Risk:

  • • Implement ISO-compliant quality standards
  • • Manage service level agreements for business continuity
  • • Address audit findings and mitigation planning

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • • Collaborate with cross-functional project teams
  • • Provide technical expertise to business units
  • • Manage vendor relationships and service delivery
