Role Purpose:
Design, develop, and maintain business applications while migrating legacy systems to modern technologies aligned with organizational objectives.
Key Requirements:
- ▪ Education: Bachelor’s Degree/National Diploma in IT, Computer Science or related field (NQF Level 7)
- ▪ Preferred Certifications: DevOps, ITIL, Microsoft Developer
- ▪ 8+ years’ application development experience (Java, JavaScript, Oracle, .NET)
- ▪ 4+ years in specialist technical roles
- ▪ Proven ERP and HRIS systems experience
Core Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership:
- • Develop system methodologies for application solutions
- • Troubleshoot and resolve complex application defects
- • Manage full software lifecycle from design to implementation
Systems Management:
- • Conduct impact analysis for system changes
- • Oversee application migration and integration projects
- • Maintain documentation for ICT change control processes
Compliance & Risk:
- • Implement ISO-compliant quality standards
- • Manage service level agreements for business continuity
- • Address audit findings and mitigation planning
Stakeholder Engagement:
- • Collaborate with cross-functional project teams
- • Provide technical expertise to business units
- • Manage vendor relationships and service delivery
