Special Workman Position – City of Tshwane

Position Details:

Employment Type: Full Time
Minimum Education: Grade 10 Certificate
Experience Level: Entry Level (6+ months preferred)
Location: Pretoria, Gauteng
Department: Engineering & Technical Services

Role Purpose:

Maintain public infrastructure including playground equipment and park facilities using specialized tools/machinery to enhance community spaces.

Key Requirements:

  • Grade 10 completion certificate
  • 6 months experience in horticulture/maintenance work
  • Valid Code C1 driver’s license with PrDP
  • Physically fit for manual labor tasks
  • Available for shift work, overtime, and standby duties
  • Clean criminal record (verification required)

  • Adaptability to work independently
  • Time management under pressure
