Special Programmes Unit Practitioner

Salary Range: R339,704.04 – R440,952.06 per annum (excluding benefits)

Minimum Requirements:

– Grade 12 Certificate
– National Diploma in Public Management/Public Administration/Social Sciences
– 3+ years’ experience in municipal/local government sector
– Computer literacy
– Valid driver’s license

Key Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate programs to support vulnerable groups including women, children, senior citizens, youth, persons with disabilities, and military veterans
2. Implement community outreach initiatives and educational campaigns
3. Facilitate development of sports, arts, cultural and recreational activities
4. Oversee maintenance and development of community facilities
5. Monitor and report on program outcomes aligned with municipal performance targets
