Sourcing Officer (1-Year Fixed Term Contract)

South African Civil Aviation Authority | Centurion, Gauteng

Position Overview:

We seek a qualified Sourcing Officer to implement supply chain strategies and deliver efficient procurement solutions. This fixed-term role requires ensuring compliance with procurement policies while meeting organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage supplier quotations through Central Supplier Database (CSD)
• Coordinate RFQ processes including eTender Portal advertising
• Facilitate bid evaluation and purchase order management
• Verify documentation compliance and budget availability
• Manage travel coordination for staff (including after-hours support)
• Oversee goods distribution and receipt verification

Requirements:

• Education: National Diploma in Supply Chain Management (NQF 6) – Degree preferred
• Experience: 3 years minimum in sourcing/procurement
• Skills: RFQ management, supplier negotiation, procurement compliance
