Sourcing Officer (1-Year Fixed Term Contract)

Key Position Details:

• Contract Type: Fixed Term (12 Months)
• Education: National Diploma/Bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management (NQF 6+)
• Experience: 3+ years sourcing/procurement experience
• Location: Centurion Corporate Office

Core Responsibilities:

Procurement Operations:

• Process purchase requisitions and verify budgetary allocation
• Obtain competitive quotes through CSD system (minimum 3 bids per purchase)
• Prepare and distribute approved purchase orders
• Manage goods distribution and verify delivery documentation

Supplier Management:

• Negotiate terms with approved suppliers
• Maintain supplier performance records
• Resolve procurement discrepancies

Travel Coordination:

• Arrange staff travel including after-hours emergencies
• Manage relationships with travel agencies

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

• National Diploma: Supply Chain Management/Logistics

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree: Supply Chain Management or BCom Logistics

Key Competencies:

• Proven sourcing experience in structured procurement environment
• Advanced negotiation skills
• Strong knowledge of PFMA regulations
• Proficiency in ERP systems
