Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Social Work or equivalent qualification
- Active registration with South African Council for Social Service Professions
- 7 years’ practical experience in social work post-registration
- Valid driver’s license (exceptions apply for persons with disabilities)
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee delivery of social services for vulnerable individuals and communities
- Ensure compliance with SACSSP standards and service regulations
- Supervise teams of social workers and auxiliary staff
- Coordinate welfare programs and organizational transformations
- Provide client counseling and mentorship to junior staff
- Monitor evaluations of non-profit partner organizations
