Position Details
Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time
Location: Durban, KwaZulu-Natal
Experience Requirement: 3-4 Years
Education Requirements:
– Diploma (NQF Level 6) in HR Development/Management, Public Administration, or related field
– ODETDP Certification
– Bachelor’s Degree preferred (NQF Level 7)
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Workplace Skills Plans aligned with organizational needs
- Conduct comprehensive skills audits and development gap analyses
- Coordinate learning programs per Skills Development Act and municipal strategy
- Manage intern programs and work-integrated learning initiatives
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement on training matters
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Proven experience in skills development implementation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong understanding of SETA requirements and Employment Equity Act
Preferred Attributes
- Experience in municipal operations
- Proficiency in HR management systems
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills
