**Shopper & Driver Supervisor (Groot Phesantekraal)**

Job Purpose:

To lead and coach a team of Shoppers and Drivers to achieve agreed goals by developing their skills and ensuring excellent service delivery. The role involves managing team performance, providing feedback, and maintaining the desired work ethic.

Duties and Responsibilities:

– Lead and supervise a team of Shoppers and Drivers to ensure seamless service delivery.
– Conduct spot checks on uniforms, orders, attendance, and procedures.
– Prepare reports on adherence and attendance.
– Resolve daily operational issues with an analytical mindset.
– Support the team on special projects to improve efficiency and growth.
– Ensure best practices in logistics and operational protocols.
– Manage daily and weekly KPIs, focusing on on-time fulfillment.
– Train and develop Shoppers.
– Consistently apply internal procedures.
– Balance personal objectives with organizational needs.

Staff Management:

– Create schedules for efficient order management.
– Hold regular team meetings to improve motivation and communication.
– Ensure all staff arrive on time.
– Provide training and coaching for underperforming staff.
– Resolve staff queries and escalate issues to head office as needed.
– Identify training needs to enhance staff knowledge.

Complaints Management:

– Assist with shopper and driver queries.
– Resolve escalated customer complaints.
– Provide feedback to the Area Manager on unresolved issues.
– Investigate and respond to shopper queries.
– Anticipate potential problems and take preventive action.
– Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to solve problems.

Reporting:

– Provide weekly feedback on staff performance.
– Submit daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
– Ensure report accuracy and timely submission.
– Maintain real-time reporting visibility.
– Review weekly reports on complaints, downtime, and productivity.

Qualifications and Requirements:

– Eligible to work in South Africa.
– Valid SA driver’s license or Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
– Clean driving record.
– Own vehicle or motorbike (verified registration).
– Access to a smartphone (iPhone 5 / Android 4.4 or newer).
– 2-3 years of Team Leader experience.
