Job Purpose:
To lead and coach a team of Shoppers and Drivers to achieve agreed goals, develop team skills, and ensure flawless customer service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership & Development
   • Lead and supervise Shoppers and Drivers to ensure excellent service delivery.
   • Coach and train team members to improve performance and achieve results.
   • Conduct spot checks on uniforms, orders, attendance, and adherence to processes.
   • Manage and report on team attendance and performance.
2. Operational Efficiency
   • Resolve daily operational issues with a problem-solving mindset.
   • Support special projects for operational growth and efficiency.
   • Provide logistical insights to ensure best practices.
   • Manage KPIs, especially on-time order fulfillment, and generate daily/weekly reports.
3. Staff Management
   • Create schedules to ensure efficient store order management.
   • Hold regular team meetings to improve motivation and communication.
   • Ensure staff punctuality and resolve queries promptly.
   • Identify training needs and facilitate coaching for improved performance.
4. Complaints & Query Management
   • Address and resolve escalated customer complaints.
   • Provide feedback to management on unresolved issues.
   • Investigate and respond to shopper and driver queries.
   • Prevent potential problems by taking proactive measures.
5. Reporting
   • Submit accurate weekly, monthly, and real-time reports.
   • Monitor and report on staff performance, complaints, and productivity.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Eligible to work in South Africa.
• Valid South African driver’s license or Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
• Clean driving record.
• Own vehicle or motorbike (registration documents required).
• Access to a recent smartphone (iPhone 5 / Android 4.4 or newer).
• 2-3 years of Team Leader experience.
