Key Performance Areas

  • Provide excellent customer service to create a positive experience
  • Meet the unique needs of each customer and always put them first
  • Offer prompt and helpful service on the sales floor and by phone
  • Follow all customer service standards
  • Understand customer needs and advise on products, prices, and warranties
  • Demonstrate, explain, and recommend products
  • Sell products and promote add-on sales and services
  • Ensure products are correctly priced and displayed
  • Execute promotions on time and plan ahead
  • Maintain merchandising, layouts, and housekeeping standards
  • Prepare, implement, and keep up with sales promotions
  • Report fast and slow-selling items to the store manager
  • Participate in stock takes and counts
  • Minimize stock loss
  • Control expenses in your area
  • Maximize sales in all areas
  • Protect the company’s assets

Entry Requirements

  • Matric certificate
  • 6 months of retail experience
  • Own or reliable transport to work shifts

General Responsibilities

  • Perform any other duties assigned by senior management
  • Complete all required training
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all information
  • Participate in regular appraisals and personal development reviews
  • Stay updated on standard operating procedures
  • Cooperate with new technology and methods
