Introduction

This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service through efficient point-of-sale operations and in-store merchandising to create a positive experience for every customer.

Job Description

Key Objectives:

  • Efficiently handle all point-of-sale activities in a timely manner.
  • Accurately scan items and process payments, including clubcard rewards.
  • Safely manage cash transactions at all times.
  • Promote the Clicks clubcard and sign up new members to meet participation goals.
  • Inform customers about promotions to boost sales and help them save money.
  • Provide outstanding customer service as a brand representative, being approachable and professional.
  • Perform merchandising and housekeeping tasks to meet store and visual standards.
  • Support the company’s goal to be the top choice for health and beauty by upholding its values.
  • Stay informed about products, promotions, and events to give accurate information to customers.

Knowledge Required:

  • Basic math skills for calculations.
  • Understanding of retail and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), including merchandising and promotions.
  • Knowledge of stock management processes.
  • Principles of excellent customer service.
