Job Description

Job Purpose:

• To help the Store Manager run the store smoothly and deliver top service by increasing sales and customer loyalty. This will help meet sales, profit, and compliance goals, giving the brand an advantage.

Job Objectives:

• Help achieve the store’s financial goals by boosting sales through promotions, cross-selling, up-selling, and great customer service from the team.
• Handle all store operations efficiently, including expenses, stock control, loss prevention, cleaning, and paperwork.
• Set up in-store displays and promotions to meet standards and keep the store looking sharp in line with the brand.
• Support the Store Manager in motivating staff to hit targets, manage them when the manager is away, and guide their performance.
• Help create daily work schedules following company labour policies to keep all areas fully staffed.
• Run customer service programs that create positive experiences, build loyalty, and meet club card sign-up goals.
• Manage all admin tasks well, like submitting weekly time records and employee files to HR.
• Promote the brand as the top choice for health and beauty by living the company values.

Minimum Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Essential: Grade 12 (Maths 50% and English 50%)
• Essential: Relevant Retail or Business Management qualification (for external applicants)
• Desirable: Degree in Retail or Business Management
• At least 1 year in an assistant store management role in retail or FMCG, or completion of the Clicks Trainee Store Management Programme
• Experience with financial management (budgets, profit and loss, financial ratios, etc.)
