Job Description

Job Purpose:

  • To provide excellent service through efficient customer support, point-of-sale operations, and in-store merchandising that creates a positive experience for customers.

Job Objectives:

  • Efficiently handle all point-of-sale operations in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accuracy when scanning items and processing payments, including applying clubcard rewards.
  • Handle cash securely at all times.
  • Actively promote the Clicks clubcard and sign up new members to meet participation goals.
  • Inform customers about promotions to boost sales and help them “feel good and pay less.”
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by acting as a brand representative, being approachable, and offering friendly, professional support.
  • Perform merchandising and housekeeping tasks to meet store and visual standards.
  • Ensure consistent service by building your skills, learning about products, and sharing knowledge with team members.
  • Support the company’s goal to be the top choice for health and beauty retail by embracing our values.
  • Stay informed about products, ranges, promotions, and events to give customers accurate information.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Essential: Grade 12
  • Desirable: Maths 50% and English 50% at Grade 12 level
  • Desirable: Relevant Retail or Business Management qualification
  • Desirable: Experience in a customer-facing role in retail or FMCG operations
