Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent customer service for a positive shopping experience – help customers find products, answer questions, and resolve complaints
  • Handle cashier tasks – process cash and card payments, manage lay-bys, handle refunds, report issues to supervisors, and balance tills
  • Manage merchandising – ensure correct pricing and display of stock, keep products available on the sales floor, and stay updated on promotions
  • Maintain housekeeping standards
  • Support risk management – tag products as per company policy, assist with stock takes, watch for theft or suspicious activity, and report to management
  • Follow Ackermans values, policies, and procedures in all work activities
